Will your equipment work with my phone system?
The equipment we have chosen for Docs-On-Hold works with virtually all phone systems that have hold capability. If you upgrade your phone system or move locations, your equipment can change with you.

Can I use my existing on-hold equipment?
If you already have equipment for on-hold messaging, please call us to find out if it is compatible with our system. We will gladly work with you if it is usable. It must have remote download capabilities to fit with the Docs-On-Hold system.

How long will my message run for?
Your total message running time is 4 minutes.

When the messages reach the end will they automatically start again?
Yes, when your messages reach the end, they will automatically loop back and start at the beginning of the sequence again. It's called zero gap technology.

Can I decide the order in which the messages run?
You can select the order of your messages in production. They will sequence in this same order every time.

Which part of the message will the caller hear?
Callers being placed on hold will hear a random point within your total recorded messages. If you have more than one caller on hold, they will all hear the same message.

After I get my quarterly e-mail reminder, do I update my messages online?
Yes, just come back to the Docs-On-Hold site, log in with your user ID and password and proceed directly to the message library to make your selections.

Will you send me a script to approve for my customized messages?
We will e-mail or fax your customized scripts for approval.

Can someone help me select the right voice and music?
If you would like help selecting your voice and music, you have access to a Docs-on-Hold consultant who will work with you, help manage your account and oversee the on-hold message production. They are also your personal contact for any questions you may have about your account.

Can I change my messages mid-quarter?
You can change your messages four times per year at anytime throughout the year.

How will you contact me to set up installation?
Upon completion of your order, we will send you a confirmation notice. Shorty thereafter, we will call to arrange your installation date and time. Ideally, we'd like to coordinate the installation with your phone vendor.
